Many of us have started down a path of improving our health only to find excuses. Honestly, that can apply to a path towards anything. But if that sounds familiar, it's time to find your "why" behind your decision to get healthy, go back to school, finish that house project... you see where I'm going with this. Change happens only when your "why" becomes a priority. You'll start to see changes such as: creating a plan, adding a time block for that activity on your calendar, and results of the hard work you put in.
Keep in mind that we all go into workouts with our own whys; our own goals, expectations, and motivations. Maybe you run for mental health benefits. Maybe you lift to have the security of strength. Maybe you love the serenity of yoga and the aggression of boxing. That why is what keeps you coming back for more.
